Paintball time!

The family got paintball guns for Christmas and it was finally warm enough to go outside and shoot them. Luke really wants to play paintball but Ella and I just want to shoot trees:) Lyle and him are really into it though!

First snow back in AR!

One thing we really missed being in SF was snow and the potential for snow days! We were really hoping we would get at least a little snow this year and maybe some snow days. So we were all pretty excited when the snow started to fall and the kids' got word that school would be canceled for TWO days! I had to move some things around at work but I was able to stay home with them so we began our snow day traditions....hot chocolate, warm fire and puzzles!!!
Not a lot of snow but I was so excited to see this house with snow everywhere. It was beautiful!

The kids loved it too. Really the first snow AB can remember.

It was a peaceful couple of days. AB did some finger painting while E, L and I worked hard on the puzzle. We finished it the night before they had to go back to school!

Spa night with my little girl!

I used to do spa nights all the time with Ella when she was little. We had a whole routine down. I realized I hadn't had one with just Annabeth. So one night when both Ella and Luke where gone for the night, I thought it was the perfect time! We got out all the supplies, painted our toenails and fingernails, exfoliated our skin and did the very important cucumber treatment. Of course, we also had snacks, fancy drinks and watched a movie! AB loved it! Now she wants to do it every night! What fun night with my little cutie pie!

Luke turns 9!

Oh little Luke! Where does the time go! Before we know it you will be entering your teenage years just like Ella!
We love you, buddy! Seriously the funniest, cleverest kid I know. You are so smart, athletic, and so so handsome! Thank you for taking such good care of your baby sister. She adores you! Daddy and I are so proud of you! Happy Birthday sweet boy!
Luke was lucky this year and got to have Grandma and Papa at our house for his birthday along with Craig's family. We haven's shared birthdays with family in a while. Ella was a sweet sister and made him his very own smash cake:) It was funny watching him smash his face in it! We had a big party for him with all this friends but some how I missed out on taking any pics! It was a fun party though. They played basketball, capture the flag and paintball guns. Lots of boys running like crazy!

Oh Annabeth!

Annabeth is just so darn cute! I find myself snapping pictures of her all the time catching her being cute and silly. Wanted to share just a few.
This first one is when Ella had a big spa night with here. They took a shower and Ella wrapped her hair in a towel wrap. I couldn't resist taking a pic.

My 38th Birthday!

Well, my birthday happened again! I can't complain too much though. Life is really good and I am lucky to be sharing it with such wonderful people!
Ella is getting so tall these days. She is always comparing herself to me so on my bday she wanted to see if I grew any taller:) Love my big girl!

She also made me a beautiful cake to celebrate!

Happy 12th Birthday Ella!

Oh boy! Ella is one year shy of her teenage years! She reminds us everyday! So hard to believe she is this old. My first baby. Geez. But what a great young woman she is turning into! We feel so blessed to have such a mature, responsible, funny, smart, beautiful, kind young lady as our daughter. She is really more than we could have ever hoped for! We love you so so much!
As usual we woke her up with ice cream and cake for her birthday! Always a nice way to kick off a new year! 2018 here we come!!
