Can I help you find something, Luke?

There seems to be a running theme in these pictures.

Luke investigating the iPod

Luke investigating the refrigerator. I don't even know how he got in there but he was thoroughly enjoying himself!

More Cheerios, Luke?

What a good sister! It was so nice of you, Ella, to give your brother some Cheerios. Luke couldn't shovel them in fast enough!!

Time to lower the crib, Daddy!

It had been about 15 minutes since I put Luke down for bed when I heard some banging coming from his room so I went to check on him and was surprised to see.......

His little face peeking out over the top of the crib. It is a sight I never want to forget! He was so excited to see me and was so proud that he had figured out how to pull himself up over the crib. He was smiling so big! So, to keep him from toppling over the top, daddy lowered the crib.

The next morning, I found him pulling himself up onto everything! He is growing too fast!

Enjoying the cool weather!

The weather has finally been cooling off here so we enjoyed a nice day at the park.

Luke's first swing ride....not too excited about it!

We then fed the ducks but...

We had to stop because they came up behind for a sneak attack and we were afraid they would follow us all around the park!

It was a great day!

First official Picture

I finally got around to posting this picture. It was taken about two months ago but I still wanted to post it. Ella is 3 yrs and Luke is 6 months here.

A few of Ella's funny sayings

When telling me that something makes her laugh she says, "Mommy, that really just cracks me out!"

Getting on to her daddy for leaving pee pee on the toilet. "Daddy, when you leave pee pee on the toilet, I have to wipe it up and that is really disgusting and rude."

Learning addition

So we have been teaching Ella how to add and subtract lately but we hit a small road block. It just reminds me how literal little kids think. When I ask her what 1 + 1 is she says.."eleven (11)" or 1 + 2..."twelve (12) and 1 + 3..."thirteen (13)". I can see her line of reasoning!!

Fun with the camera

While I was getting ready for work one morning, Ella grabbed the camera. Here are only a few out of the 50 she took. I thought they were kind of funny! At least she got some good shots of Luke.

Bubbles! Bubbles!

Luke's first bubble bath! He loved it and of course Ella did too!
