Christmas time is here!

We were so excited this year to spend our first Christmas in our new house! We couldn't wait to get our tree. We headed out to the tree farm with the intentions of cutting down one ourselves but that changed quickly when we saw how little they were so we got a precut one. It was beautiful!
We had a good time but AB didn't think we were staying long enough and was pretty upset when I snapped this quick pic.

 Then it was time for lights and ornaments!

 The kids did a great job....mommy had to of course do some adjusting:)

 It was ABs first time helping with the ornaments. She loved them! I would find her several times sitting right here playing with some of the figurines. It was so sweet! We are ready for you Santa!

Thanksgiving at the White River Cabin

This year my side of the family decided to spend Thanksgiving together at a big Cabin on the White River just to celebrate a little differently. It was a great idea! We had a blast....except for the fact that Luke was still throwing up from the stomach bug that he got at Halloween!!! He did get better and was able to hang out with his cousins a little but we did rush out Saturday morning because both him and Ella started throwing up! KIDS!! Always something!!
Here are a few pics of the fun! We were so happy that Lyle got to spend the weekend with us...he was really excited about getting to fish! Notice he bought him and Luke new fishing hats! It was a great Thanksgiving. We spent the whole time playing games, fishing, sitting by the fire, laughing and eating (of course)!

AB's big Thanksgiving Day performance!

Annabeth had her first school performance for celebrating Thanksgiving. Her class had to dress up like cowboys and cowgirls. She was beyond excited!! Here are a few shots of the big night:
