Spring Break 2017!!

With this being our last Spring Break in SF and the fact that we had a terrible one last year because of the Flu, I wanted to make this a really fun week for the kids.
I started out with a surprise in the car after school... goodies for the week and a list of fun activities for them.

First up was Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast the next morning!

Next the kids chose bowling at Lucky Strike. We had the whole place to ourselves! Such a fun day!
AB loved her bowling shoes!! She got a little ramp to help her roll the ball and the kids had bumpers which made it easy. Watching AB roll her ball was soooo funny! She did really well. The other two need improvement:)

We also played putt putt golf at Urban Putt an indoor putt putt golf place which serves drinks for Lyle and I. It was really cool! Kids loved it! So much to look at! But it was really busy.

Had a Chinese nice dinner in the Mission afterwards (Mission Chinese)....I love seeing us all walk down the street together.

We rode down to Posh bagels on our bikes one morning which was my favorite part of the week!
We did a China Beach trip so the kids to fly their new kites. Although getting the kites to fly almost drove me crazy, it was a beautiful day at the beach. My favorite part was when I moved my chair into the water and AB snuggled on my lap and ALMOST fell asleep!

We also took the kids on the Muni to Union Square for cheesecake at the Cheese Cake Factory. Union Square is one of my favorite places to go. The kids loved picking out what cheesecake they wanted. So funny that this gets them so excited!

Movies and some hiking finished out our week. It was a blast and so much better than last year!

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone! We kicked off Easter this year with our neighborhood's annual Easter Egg Hunt at our neighborhood park on Holy Saturday. I was so excited to take AB but unfortunately she was not in a good mood at all! Prior to this she fell and scratched her knee at a friend's birthday party so she was very upset about it the rest of the day and actually didn't want to egg hunt but the other two kids had some friends there so they seemed to enjoy themselves.
Before the egg hunt, there was arts and crafts where the little ones could decorate an Easter Bag. This was the only part AB actually cared about.

After the egg hunt, we went home to put AB down for a nap and let the big kids color some eggs for the Easter Bunny. Always and exciting time. We saved a couple eggs for AB to dye when she woke up....sister was in desperate need of a nap!

Lyle was out of town moonlighting in AR for the weekend so the kids and I decided that we would attempt to go to Easter Vigil mass this year. I told them it was going to be long but that it was beautiful with the candles so we went for it...hoping AB would fall asleep with it being so late.
Don't they look so pretty all dressed up! I was so proud of them. They all three got dressed quickly without any complaining. I think they were excited about the mass and getting pretty:)

The mass went really well and was really really long but AB didn't sleep at all although it was almost 11 by the time we left. She was awesome though! Loved the candles and snuggled with mommy:)

The next morning was a hit! That Easter Bunny sure knows what he is doing!

Peeps for Peep!
We had a fun morning of egg hunting, eating chocolate and cinnamon rolls and playing games! Lazy Easter Sunday!
