Princess Annabeth

Annabeth loves Sophia the First ( a cartoon about a little girl named Sophia who becomes a princess when her mother marries the king) so getting the Sophia princess dress for Christmas from Mims was the best thing! She wears it every single day!!! She is definitely our little princess:)

Point Reyes

Lyle had a very rare weekend off and at home so we decided to get out of the city of a little while and drive up the coast to the Point Reyes Light House. I had heard the drive was beautiful and it definitely was!  It was about a hour and a half drive right of the coast so the kids didn't mind being in the car that long because there was a lot to look at during the drive. When we got to the light house it was a half mile walk which was perfect because the kids got to run and explore. Such a fun day out! We stopped a little pizza place on the way back and had the best pizza ever! I wish I could remember the name of that place!

Luke's First Communion

Luke celebrated his First Holy Communion on Feb. 11th, 2017. This kid was seriously excited! It was a big big day! We were so thrilled that Grandma and Papa came out to celebrate with us. Made even more special.
That morning, I made Luke a big breakfast and he quickly got dressed. He was actually ready to go about an hour before we needed to leave because he was so excited. Luke did a fantastic job as a reader...he always does:) After the ceremony, we came back to the house where I had a nice lunch ready with lasagna (Luke's favorite) and a cake to celebrate. We then played games the rest of the afternoon. Such a great day celebrating such a huge milestone for this kid!

 

 

Flag Football

Oh how excited Luke was when I told him I had signed him up for a flag football team with some of his friends. He LOVES football! Can't get enough of it! This was a fantastic league! Luke really learned about positions, plays and penalties. I also can't tell you enough how great he was! He was killing it every game! So fun!

Super Bowl Time!

We seriously love the Super Bowl around here. The kids included, mostly because they get to have our super sundaes! This year we decided to put a little money on the game. Each person had to bet $5 and then pick what the scores would be at halftime and at the end of the game. The person closest at halftime got to pick the next movie for movie night and the person closest at the end of the game got all the money which was $20. Once the money went down the game got very serious! Luke did not want to bet at first because he is trying to save up his money but I forced him into it....and who do you think won...Luke! He nailed the scores and the winner! Lucky little kid! So much fun!
