Happy Valentines Day

Hope everyone had a very sweet day!

This was the Valentine's wreath the kids helped me with this year. One of our snow day projects!

Ella made us very special Valentine's. Beautiful cards that she put outside our door to surprise us! She made one for her brother too!

Lyle surprised me with a nice valentine's day lunch. It was great!

Superbowl Party!

As always, we had a big Superbowl party. It was especially exciting this year because the game was in Dallas! It made us miss home! It was also fun because the Green Bay Packers were in the big game. Not that we are particularly interested in the Packers but my dad and brother are huge fans so it was fun to cheer for them...although they are big rivals of our Dallas Cowboys. We had a big party with lots of good food and lots of fun.

Now if you sat with Mommy during the game you snuggled under a warm blanket

But....if you sat with Daddy, you wrestled!

We had our own halftime entertainment...and I believe it was much better than what was on TV.

We then had our traditional SUPER Sundaes to celebrate Superbowl Sunday!
What a game and what a party!

Bears are the BOMB!

Ella recently attended a 3-day Little Bear cheer camp at her school. On the 4th day, they were to perform at the halftime show of the basketball game. It was a huge deal! She practiced every night for us...Luke has learned the cheer quite well. Their mascot is the bears and one of the cheers was Bears are the BOMB! They did the cheer and then a dance. I am so upset but didn't get any video of the performance:( It was so great. She jumped out there and took off!
