Our night out on the town!

I decided one night that our family needed a fancy night out on the town. We don't get to go to Union Square very often and it is one of my favorite places in the city, so I told the family to get dressed up and we would eat and Chinatown and walk to Union Square just for a little site seeing.
Isn't she beautiful!!
And one of me dressed up because it doesn't get documented enough:) Kids need to be reminded that I did get dressed up sometimes:)

Luke reading his fortune cookie! Serious stuff!
It was a fun night. We walked to the Disney Store in Union Square and then grabbed ice cream at McDonald's before heading home. Love our little family!

Oh Pork and Mol how we love you so!

So thankful we kept the babies Porcupine (Porky, or Pork) and Molly (Mol). Ella played with these babies like crazy! Although she got lots of other dolls when she was little none took Porky and Molly place. Annabeth now has the same feeling towards them. I have so many pics of Ella taking a nap with her babies just like this one of AB. I love those dolls!!

MidTown Terrace Block Party

Every year at this time our neighborhood has a block party on our "horseshoe". We only got to go for a short time last year so I made sure we were there for all of it this year since it will be our last. I made the kids go over in the morning and help set up the tables and chairs. I think it is important to them to feel part of a community and show them how everyone has to work together to accomplish something. The party was great! Bounce houses, face painting, cotton candy, balloon man, hot dogs and hamburgers and goody bags for the kids! They had a great great time! The thing we will miss most about SF is this neighborhood! We were so blessed to find it! Thanks EVE!

This is AB getting her face painted with a big heart. She was so patient waiting for this!

Arts and Crafts Time

Once a week I try to do some arts and crafts with Annabeth. She loves it! If I tell her we are going to do it the next day before I put her down to sleep for the night, it is the first thing she will talk about in the morning. Here are a couple of our projects:

A Jungle:
We colored and cut out lots of jungle animals and taped them to the window for a little Jungle project.
We also made some pretty crowns for the family. She was sooooo excited to give Luke and Ella their crowns when they got home from school! So cute! Although some days are hard being home with a toddler, I know I am going to desperate miss these quiet days at home with her next year. I love you AB!

A picnic at the park

Annabeth and I love going to the Botanical Gardens in GGP. It is literally about 2 minutes from and our and FREE! Today we went there for a little picnic and some flash card time. Learning letters can be hard to its better when you have a fun place to learn them in! There were lots of geese in the park today walking right around our little blanket. AB was very concerned that they would get our food and her milk cup. But they were very happy ignoring us and doing there own thing. She is looking at the geese in this second picture. It was a fun day!

What a fun lunch date with Lyle down by the bay. He was working at the Children's hospital in Mission Bay so AB and I picked him up for a quick lunch. It was beautiful!

China beach Fun!

The kids had the day off so we headed to the beach to enjoy some of this beautiful weather. I am trying to get to the beach as much as we can since I know we will miss it so much once we move back.

Best part of the day.......getting to bury Luke in the sand!! What a goof ball!
