Annabeth's 1st Birthday party

I was so excited to throw AB's birthday party this year. It was her first which is exciting but also because it wasn't in January! Both Ella's and Luke's are in January and it is usually cold so we can't do much outside which limits what we can do and the themes we can chose from but with AB's being in spring we could plan something outside! So we planned a simple BBQ with family and friends. It was such a beautiful day!

Ella and Luke made their own decorations outside on the driveway since we were playing lots of outside games during the party. They really love that little girl!

We also setup a picture booth in the dining room but it really didn't get much use because everyone was outside.

 Ella made a really sweet slide show of AB's first year. Had a slide describing all the things she loved about Annabeth. Here is a pic of everyone watching it on the TV.

Time for the big moment!

She just smiled while we sang to her and didn't really know what to do with the cake. She tried a bit of the icing but wasn't a fan so she was done!

It was a pretty easy party and lots of fun! Thanks to everyone for coming over! Especially Mims and Pa for making the long drive from TX! It made AB feel very special....she just didn't know it!
