Spring Soccer is here!! Luke finally gets to play!

Soccer season kicked off this weekend. We are always so excited for it to get started but were really excited this year because Luke is finally old enough to be on his own team!

First up....Ella's game on Saturday at 8:30 in the morning. Spring soccer is always cold but this was ridiculous! It was 32 degrees on the field with light snow coming down! We were cold! But Ella still did a great job and was happy to snuggle with Lyle during half time:)

Luke had his game later that afternoon and let me tell you he was EXCITED!! No more wearing sissy's uniform, he has his very own!

And cool new cleats!

Lyle gets to be the coach this year as well. Which he (Lyle) couldn't be happier about! Just a side note in this picture, I forgot that Luke was supposed to wear his white jersey:( He was none to happy about that but got over it once the game started:) He had a great time and did pretty well! He ran really hard and made two goals!

Here are his two buddies on his team. Will and Landon. They decided on the team name Red Dragons. Should be an interesting season!
